Connect with local employers and explore paid summer internships tailored for Central Piedmont students! Employers from various industries are eager to meet you—no prior experience required.
Event Details:

What to Expect:
- More than a dozen employers ready to talk about paid internship opportunities for Summer 2025 and beyond! Companies confirmed to attend include Bank of America, Discovery Education, Equitable, ESP Associates, Freedom School Partners, GardHouse, NC Department of Transportation, Niagara Bottling, and the US National Whitewater Center.

Get Ready to Succeed!
- Learn About the Employers - Research the companies you’re interested in meeting. Check them out on Handshake, review their websites, and pay attention to their mission statements and any recent news.
- Polish Your Resume - Tailor your resume by highlighting skills and keywords from internship or job descriptions. Print multiple copies to bring with you to the event.
- Practice Your Introduction - Prepare a brief elevator pitch to introduce yourself, showcase your skills and experiences, and express your interest in the company and its opportunities.
- Dress to Impress - Make a great first impression! Need professional clothes? Visit the Professional Clothing Closet for free business attire.

These employers are all hiring! Please bring multiple copies of your resume if you have one. If you don't have one, stop by Career Services for help during Drop-In Hours, Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Central High Room 206

There are no formal requirements for how to dress, but you'll make the best first impression at the Career Catalyst Internship Fair if you dress to impress! Need appropriate business attire? Make a shopping appointment with the Professional Clothing Closet.
Most employers will want to meet you and talk about how good a fit their company and position might be for you. They will likely show you how to apply and may even schedule an interview for later.
We agree that meeting employers for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking. Luckily, Career Services is here to help! Stop by the Career Center during Drop-In Hours, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., in Central High room 206 to talk to a career counselor and get tips for having that first conversation with an employer. Don't stress, we're here to help!
