Accelerated Career Training Early Childhood Education Information Session
Description
This session is designed for those who are interested or who have applied to take the Early Childhood Education EDU 119 class through Accelerated Career Training (ACT). Haley Handy, Early Childhood Education faculty, will share details about the class, learning objectives, job prospects and further study opportunities. ACT Program staff will share information on the scholarship program and the application process.

Accelerated Career Training (ACT) is a scholarship program for unemployed and low income residents of the Charlotte area. The program provides short term career training opportunities in several different career pathways.
- Is attending this session required to be considered for the program?
This session is strongly encouraged for those who would like to be considered for Fall 2026 ACT Program classes. For those unable to attend, the recording will be available afterwards.
