Polish Your Resume - Tailor your resume by highlighting skills and keywords from internship or job descriptions. Print multiple copies to bring with you to the event.
Practice Your Introduction - Prepare a brief elevator pitch to introduce yourself, showcase your skills and experiences, and express your interest in the company and its opportunities.
Dress to Impress - Make a great first impression! Need professional clothes? Visit the Professional Clothing Closet for free business attire.

Accelerated Career Training (ACT Program) Pathway Specific Information Sessions

November 6, 2024 - April 28, 2026

These information sessions are for students who have applied for or are considering Accelerated Career Training for Summer or Fall 2026. Each session will provide an overview of the pathway option for the program. ACT Program staff will share information about the scholarship program and admissions process, and program faculty or staff will share about the learning objectives, class requirements and job prospects.

We have already held sessions for Nurse Aide and Phlebotomy, EMT, Early Childhood Education and HVAC. If the session was recorded, the link is below.

Orientation Encore 2025-26

March 6, 2025 - June 12, 2026

Join the fun at Orientation Encore! You'll have the opportunity to:

Meet other new students in a small group with a student leader or Student Affairs staff member
Learn how to get involved with student organizations and campus events
Tour the campus and academic program areas
Get your student ID card and get ready for your first day of class

We can't wait to see you there! Please note: Orientation Encore is an optional event. All new students must complete the online Orientation in Brightspace, meet with an Academic Advisor, and register for classes before attending Orientation Encore.
