Get a job today by meeting with employers who want Central Piedmont students and alumni during Work-It Wednesdays! Connect with local and regional employers by 

  • Learn About the Employers - Research the companies you’re interested in meeting. Check them out on Handshake, review their websites, and pay attention to their mission statements and any recent news.  
  • Polish Your Resume - Tailor your resume by highlighting skills and keywords from internship or job descriptions. Print multiple copies to bring with you to the event. 
  • Practice Your Introduction - Prepare a brief elevator pitch to introduce yourself, showcase your skills and experiences, and express your interest in the company and its opportunities. 
  • Dress to Impress - Make a great first impression! Need professional clothes? Visit the Professional Clothing Closet for free business attire.

Accelerated Career Training (ACT Program) Pathway Specific Information Sessions

These information sessions are for students who have applied for or are considering Accelerated Career Training for Summer or Fall 2026. Each session will provide an overview of the pathway option for the program. ACT Program staff will share information about the scholarship program and admissions process, and program faculty or staff will share about the learning objectives, class requirements and job prospects.
