Looking to work in the Transportation Systems industry? The Transportation Systems (Automotive, Collision Repair, Heavy Equipment & Diesel Repair) programs are hosting an employer meet and greet with companies in the Charlotte Metro area. All students are welcome to join as employers may have additional roles at their organization.
This event is open to all Central Piedmont students and alumni seeking a career opportunity or wanting to learn more about field.

- Should I bring anything with me?
These employers are all hiring! Please bring multiple copies of your resume if you have one. If you don't have one, stop by Career Services for help during Drop-In Hours, Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Central High Room 206
- What should I wear?
There are no formal requirements for how to dress, but you'll make the best first impression if you dress to impress! Need appropriate business attire? Make a shopping appointment with the Professional Clothing Closet.
- Meeting an employer for the first time is a little intimidating - what should I do?
We agree that meeting employers for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking. Luckily, Career Services is here to help! Stop by the Career Center during Drop-In Hours, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., in Central High room 206 to talk to a career counselor and get tips for having that first conversation with an employer. Don't stress, we're here to help!

- Will employers be hiring on the spot?
Most employers will want to meet you and talk about how good a fit their company and position might be for you. They will likely show you how to apply and may even schedule an interview for later.
- I can't make it to this event, how can I connect with the employers?
Even if you're busy or in class, you can still connect with the employers who are coming on campus. Log in to your Handshake account with your Central Piedmont username and password and to learn more about each company and engage with employers.
